We are extremely pleased to announce that Bionetics received its upgraded certification to the new ISO 9001:2008 standard, the world’s most widely used quality management system standard. Intertek Testing Services, NA Inc. performed an audit of our corporate ISO program in December 2009 and determined that our processes conform to the requirements of the new ISO standard. Our certificate applies to management approach of bid preparation and administration of contracts with the Government of the United States. We have been certified under this scope since January 2000 and will be certified under the new standard through February 1, 2012. Our success in attaining our upgraded certification can be attributed to all the folks that make our program work and improve upon it daily, ensuring we provide the best product to our customers.

Bionetics is honored to support our military who sacrifice daily to protect us, our freedoms, and the freedom of many around the world. Thanks to numerous TBC employees, and with the help of the Bionetics Charitable Trust, we were able to send 33 boxes in December filled with Christmas stockings overstuffed with toiletries, hand and foot warmers, reading lights, games, puzzles, calling cards, and plenty of goodies for every soldier in our platoon. January’s care packages were filled with new bedding for each soldier and of course more goodies, In addition our local Walgreens in Newport News donated all of its remaining Christmas candy. The February shipment included Valentines, drink mixes, plenty of goodies, and much needed gifts of warm socks and foot care items. The troops truly appreciate the support as stated in a letter received from our platoon “I would like to thank you and your organization for its support. This year was tough for the Army but letters and gifts like the ones your organization sent, make it much easier for us to continue to serve this great Nation.” |
