Base Supply Services

Bionetics provides hands-on supply support services. We provide full operational support to the Supply Department at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). We receipt, inspect and deliver material to requestors and maintain the records needed to track, manage and control material, from receipt through Government acceptance, in real time. Our NSWCDD supply team has been recognized Navy-wide for their skill and experience in managing this critical supply chain enterprise. Our work for NSWCDD has resulted in both superior performance and customer satisfaction ratings.

Bionetics employees affix property tags to incoming equipment during inspection, and process the documents required to maintain equipment integrity and accountability. We maintain physical security and accountability of stored materials and equipment, and staff a Customer Service Desk to respond to customer inquires regarding incoming orders and outgoing materials. Our staff picks up and delivers supply and procurement documents, mail, and message traffic.

In support of the customer, Bionetics coordinates with suppliers to reduce delinquent deliveries. This includes coordinating and controlling record transfers. Our warehousing staff prepares material for shipment by packing and crating it as necessary. They are HAZMAT trained to safely handle hazardous materials, and can certify hazardous material shipments that have no incident of damage, spill, breakage or other mishap. We also dispose of scrap and excess material, and degauss computers prior to disposal.
