Logistics Engineering

Bionetics has provided logistics and acquisition management services to the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) for over 20 years. We support program offices responsible for acquisition management, logistics planning, financial management and tracking, and technical engineering and analyses of aircraft and common avionics systems.

Bionetics blends our logistics engineering expertise with our modeling and analytical skills to develop the tools used to provide answers to logistics and life cycle support questions. For example, we developed and continue to support the Affordable Readiness Cost Model (ARCM) and Business Process Re-engineering Cost Model (BPRCM) used by NAVAIR and its PMAs to evaluate projected acquisition and support costs associated with changes to acquisition strategy or with Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs). PMA organizations use these methodologies to develop change proposals and to facilitate NAVAIR evaluation and funding of initiatives to identify life cycle acquisition costs from system acquisition and deployment through system disposal.
