Metrology Sciences
The Bionetics Corporation is a world-class provider of calibration
and measurement services to the U.S. Air Force and other government
and commercial customers. In 1976 Bionetics was awarded the standards
and calibration contract at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s
(NASA) Kennedy Space Center, beginning 29 years of continuous service
as a high quality, superior value provider of metrology services.
Since then we have operated laboratories for the Air Force, Navy,
NASA and the Food and Drug Administration. Today we employ more
than 250 managers, engineers and technicians supporting more than
120,000 line items of Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TDME)
while performing more than 130,000 calibrations actions per year
operating eight laboratories located throughout the country.
In 2001 Bionetics was selected as the contractor of choice
to operate and manage the Air Force Primary Standards Laboratory
(AFPSL), located in Heath Ohio. In 2004 Bionetics
accomplished a significant milestone by achieving quality accreditation
to ISO/IEC 17025
at the AFPSL as certified by the American Association for
Laboratory Accreditation, A2LA
Certification # 2192.01.
